PALA
Introducing our latest styling project, PALA. Kira & Kira were engaged by developers Havendeen to assist in the styling of this stunning property in the lead-up to the auction. We loved playing a part in its journey to market, working closely with the team to bring thoughtful, understated styling to a space already rich in detail and intention.
PALA went under the hammer with a history-making auction. 48 bids landed a final sale price of $14,005,000, setting a new record for the suburb.
Designed by award-winning architect Joe Snell of Studio Snell, PALA spans four expansive levels set on a rare 1,113m² north-east point position with 46 metres of water frontage.
There are bespoke finishes at every turn: polished concrete, limestone, timber, handcrafted Italian terracotta and Japanese ceramic tiles.
Styling a home like this was about balance – adding warmth, personality and a sense of life, without overpowering the architecture. Our pieces were chosen to complement the home’s strong lines and natural palette, softening the edges while still letting the design speak for itself.
PALA is a home that’s hard to put into words – and even harder to forget. We’re so proud to have been a part of its story and are so thrilled for everyone involved.

Wonderful words from wonderful clients:
"I engaged Kira and Kira to come into PALA to really refine and add a level of sophistication. I love the one-of-a-kind art pieces and I love the sculptural elements they have, which I knew would work perfectly with all of our concrete and timber.
The team at Kira and Kira were really easy to work with. Knowing the girls for quite a while, I had full trust in them and it was a really easy process.
Lulu and Simone beautifully curated a package for our home with talking points in every room, but they didn't overwhelm the space.
Kira and Kira, to me, are not just interior designers. They've got a lot of respect for all elements of design, architectural, building, and construction. They really understand how everything comes together and they know that interior design is to complement the entire home. They're really ahead of any trends that I've seen on the Gold Coast."
The open-plan living and dining area is all about the view, with Vitrocsa sliding doors framing the water, a wood fireplace for cooler nights, and a custom cocktail bar and temperature-controlled wine cellar for entertaining.
The kitchen is as beautiful as it is functional, with Wolf/Sub-Zero appliances, leathered Quartzite benchtops, real timber veneer joinery and aged iron tapware. A butler’s pantry adds even more detail, with another Wolf steam oven, a stainless steel benchtop, a second dishwasher and clever pocket door system.
The second living room comes with an integrated desk and leads out to the pool area. A handmade tiled wall sits as the main feature, with a separate bathroom for post-pool hangs.
The master suite is calm and refined, with a private waterfront balcony, walk-in robe and a beautifully finished ensuite featuring handmade Japanese tiles. Three more ensuite bedrooms continue the same attention to detail, each with custom robes, motorised blinds and underfloor heating. There’s a flexible sixth bedroom or home office, designed with the same care; custom joinery, integrated lighting and in-wall speakers.
A standout feature of the home is the private Car Showcase Bay, which houses a classic Chevy Impala – the inspiration behind the home’s name. PALA is a nod to this timeless car, with the font drawn directly from the original Impala badge and the logo being used throughout the property. It’s a detail that speaks to the thought and personality woven through every part of the home.
Outside, the alfresco pavilion is set up for long afternoons and late-night dinners – with a built-in Wolf BBQ, Hoshizaki ice maker, recessed lighting, heat lamps and motorised blinds. There’s a resort-style heated pool with built-in daybeds, a sunken fire pit and even a private pontoon with a jet ski dock. And the rooftop terrace? 129m² of 360-degree views, with its own bar, integrated speakers and skylight.
