Georgie Wilson's Coastal Inspired Exhibition at Kira & Kira

A beautiful night spent celebrating the talented Georgie Wilson for her Coastal Inspired exhibition. Thank you to all that came to enjoy a night of stunning original artworks, delicious catering and bubbles! See below for some snaps taken on the night, we can't wait to do it all again!  

"My latest collection of paintings are meant to evoke feelings of nostalgia and joy. They are layers of remembered summer holidays and small adventures. Dreams of warm weather lounging on wicker furniture watching crisp shadows play on white walls . Early morning walks before the heat sets in, collecting beach treasure - broken tiles and crockery, textured stones. All these elements feature in the paintings in small ways. It was also only the second time I’ve included a human element in my work which has been fun. The little people are part of my beach holiday memories - simplified and blurred, blending with the velvety nature of my painting technique." - Georgie Wilson
