We have some important details about the Gold Coast Light Rail works that affect access to the Kira & Kira store from the Gold Coast Highway.

The Gold Coast Highway near our Miami store is now closed due to the GC Light Rail work. This means you can no longer turn onto Kratzmann Avenue from the Gold Coast Highway. 

Our on-site car park is still accessible from Kratzmann Avenue, via The Esplanade only.

For travellers heading northbound on the Gold Coast Highway, access to The Esplanade will be via Fifth Avenue (near McDonalds), and for travellers heading southbound, access will be via Kelly Avenue (near Dan Murphy’s).

Please refer to the map for information on accessing Kratzmann Avenue from both Northbound and Southbound on the Gold Coast Highway.

Dates: Now until the end of December 2024

Affected Areas: Gold Coast Highway, outside the Kira & Kira store

Parking: Our on-site carpark remains accessible from Kratzmann Avenue, via the Esplanade only.

Alternative Routes: Kratzmann Avenue remains accessible via the Esplanade. Access to The Esplanade from the Gold Coast Highway will be via Fifth Avenue (northbound) and Kelly Avenue (Southbound)

Store Hours: Trading remains as usual

Mon - Fri: 9 am–5 pm
Saturday: 9 am–4 pm
Sunday: 10 am–3 pm
