Tania Blanchard’s Untethered Series explores freedom, looseness, and the beauty of unpredictability. Each work is created with up to five palette knife sizes, beginning with bold, sweeping strokes from larger knives and gradually shifting into shorter marks. Early colours blend and merge, while later layers allow bold hues to break through, creating depth and rhythm. The result is a freer, more expressive style — a balance between control and release.
